Aluwin are a leading manufacturer of aluminium windows and door systems. We provide a complete range of aluminium window systems to suit the needs of any residential or commercial project providing the flexibility, style and performance that designers and architects are looking for when specifying glazing solutions. Manufactured at our purpose built facility in Norfolk to the highest standards all our profiles are inherently strong, lightweight and sustainable.

We are PAS 24:2016 accredited. PAS 24:2016 is the BSI standard for the enhanced security performance of windows and doors. Driven by the UK Police security initiative, Secured by Design which promotes the use of effective crime prevention and it lays out methods for testing and assessing the enhanced security performance requirements with the intention of preventing crime.PAS 24 applies to new and complete window and doors prior to installation.

Using the AlUK window and Kestrel profile all systems are designed and manufactured to meet and exceed the performance standards expected in modern building design, whilst also providing the aesthetic appeal designers are looking for. Our range of design features and functions enable specifiers to choose the aluminium window system that suits the needs and design of the project, whilst being assured of the quality and performance that is integral to all our innovative building systems.

We also work alongside specifiers to provide bespoke architectural window and glazing solutions for particular projects, where required and can instal throughout East Anglia, London and the South East.

Have you got your head around Part L yet and what it means to you?

Part L means a reduction in U-Values for windows and doors with more than 60% glazing. The aim is to deliver a 30% reduction in carbon emissions from new homes and a 27% reduction from other types of buildings. The Amendment Regulations and accompanying Approved Documents L: Volumes 1 and 2 came into force on 15 June this year and we are now amending our designs and fabrication processes to accommodate these changes. 
However, the good news is that they will not apply to building work where a building notice or an initial notice has been given to, or full plans deposited with, a local authority prior to this date provided that the building work is started before 15 June 2023. All of our suppliers including AlUK have made great efforts in meeting these requirements and as an approved fabricator we are confident that we will be able to assist and guide your through the new regulations so that your project meets building controls requirements.  

All our window and door systems are available in a range of standard colours as well as any RAL colour to of your choice to order. These can be single or dual aspect, providing the option to have a different colour inside and out. A wide range of complementary fittings are also available to complete the desired look.
