Aluminium Windows and Doors Case Studies: Whitlingham Boat Club, Whitlingham Broad, Norwich, Norfolk
Aluwin designed and manufactured a number of different window, door and curtain walling systems for the Rowing Club at Whitlingham Broad in Norwich.
The installation was part of H Smith's design and build project and we worked with the contractor to complete the job within deadline and budget.
The new building provides a fully useable and accessible ground floor equipped with boat racking, The first floor area, including toilets, changing rooms and shower facilities; kitchen; educational/meeting area; and a first aid/office is now open to members and visitors with a gym being completed shortly.
Whitlingham Boathouses Foundation is a registered charity has been established to develop and maintain a community rowing and canoeing facility in the Country Park for the benefit of Norfolk and Norwich residents.
